Don’t miss the LAMiss conference!

This week, we’re sharing a notice from the neighboring LAMiss ACBS Chapter about their upcoming conference. It’s jam-packed with amazing speakers and will be serving as Kelly Wilson’s retirement party as well. If you’d like to find other’s to share accommodations with – feel free to post in our Facebook Group to coordinate with others!

“Greetings, CBSers!

I’m so so so excited to invite you all to come to Oxford, Mississippi, USA  July 26 & 27, 2019 for the 2019 LaMiss ACBS Conference!

LaMiss an ACBS regional Affiliate group, the primary function of which is to hold regional conferences during years that ACBS is away from North America. Kate Kellum and I, who co-chair the LaMiss Affiliate group, have decided to flip back and forth between our home towns for a while (i.e., Oxford, MS in 2019 and Lafayette, LA in 2021).  This year, we have an amazing four-track conference planned, including Invited Speakers, Frank Bond, Matt Boone, Mike Bordieri, Lisa Coyne, Victoria Follette, Steve Hayes, Louise McHugh, Rhonda Merwin, Amy Murrell, Tim Weil, and Caryn Winters, thirty plus selected presenters, and a special Legacy Track to honor the work of Kelly Wilson during his retirement year.

Take a look at our program and travel info at, and register today! I think you’ll agree it is going to be a really special event.

With an awesome slate of presentations, values-based registration, low cost accommodations, and the beautiful Oxford as a backdrop, we think that our conference will offer you something vital and accessible.

We hope to see you in Oxford!

Em and Kate

P.S. Want to contribute? You also still have a couple weeks to submit a poster at
